Comment : This vessel is partially built as a 14.95m steel hull and the last of four commissioned for an aquaculture client. This fourth vessel is being offered to the market by the shipbuilder. The steel hull construction is well advanced and with the aluminium wheelhouse pre-fabricated. Based on the current specification, this vessel can be ready for delivery in 7-8 months from signing of contract. This vessel also offers the feasibility and scope for lengthening by up to 9 metres to 23.95m – with the same machinery and equipment package. The 14.95m unit is offered for $3.1m and the 23.95m proposal in the range of $3.75m. There are certainly opportunities for a buyer to take advantage of a partially-built vessel as a fish farm boat or general purpose workboat for another activity.
