Refrigeration
The fish hold capacity is approx. 28 ton
The hold can be refrigerated down to -10 deg C & the Bait Room down to -4 deg C
The fish hold is accessed down through a hatch at the after end of the shelter deck
and the bait/store room is accessed off the aft deck.
Ground Tackle Anchor Windlass: The hydraulic anchor windlass is installed on the focsle and has a single chain gypsy loaded with 16mm short link chain and 150 kg Stockless anchor.
Safety Gear The vessel is equipped and maintained with the safety equipment required for MNZ survey.
Two 10-man RFD life rafts are carried on the shelter deck and aft deck respectively.
An Air-cooled Yanmar Diesel Emergency pump is located in the aft steering flat/lazerette.
Life buoys and a 406 MHz EPIRB are provided.
Lifesaving appliances are provided for up to 10 people.

Deck Gear
Derrick: A single derrick with a 200 kg SWL is swung off the forward mast and has a small electric winch mounted at its base.
For Potting, the vessel is fitted with a hydraulic pot hauler and can deploy and retrieve gear over the starboard side amidships.
Remarks
The vessel was previously set up as a Longliner but has since had the longline gear removed and has had the forward shelter deck extended over the forward deck and is now set up as a deep-water potting Vessel. The main engine has recently been replaced with a brand new 265 kW L126TIH Doosan Diesel engine. The engine room is on three levels and is located aft of the fish hold. The Main engine is on the centerline with auxiliary engines on the port side mounted on the tank tops and ancillary equipment mounted on the starboard tank tops.
The wheelhouse deck is on the upper deck just aft of amidships and has the helm station and watch keeping area. There is access aft out on to the deck and internal access down to the main deck from the wheelhouse. On the main deck aft is the crew mess and galley, with twin berth cabin to port adjacent to the galley. The main stateroom/Captain's cabin with double bunk and ensuite is located below the crew mess. The ablution/laundry block is adjacent to the mess to port and is accessed off the aft deck. Forward of the aft accommodation is the large aluminium covered Shelter deck. The forward accommodation area, which has the 3 crew cabins is accessed from the forward end of the shelter deck via the forward Scuttle. The engine room is located aft of the fish hold. The bait hold is located aft to starboard and is accessed off the aft main deck. The steering flat is located right aft and is also utilized for storage.
The wheelhouse is large with access on to the aft deck and internal access from below.
The helm station has good visibility forward and on to the work deck area below and is well equipped with the navigation and communication gear.
